Picnic in the park

Nana and Pop were in town this weekend so they stayed home with Jameson while I took Finley to Palmetto Park to play and have a picnic with Ruthie and Easton. The playground there is so much fun. Finley loved the big slide, Miss Ruthie looked a little scared though!!!




Easton and Finley play so well together. They loved playing in the sandbox .






After playing there we walked to the green field and laid out some towels for the picnic. It was so yummy and C-U-T-E!!! The two of these kids are so precious together. Easton wouldn't eat his sandwich so Ruthie gave a piece to Finley to give to him (thinking he might be more willing to eat it from his future wife ;)) So she handed it to him and Easton says "no". Finley gets the funniest face on her and says "Easton, eat the samwich". He says no again. She looks so concerned and turns to Ruthie in her cutest grown up two year old voice, "Easton won't eat the samwich Ruthie", I know there is no way to tell this story as cute as it was when it happened, but it was one of those moments when you just laugh and laugh. Kids are the most precious thing in the world!! I am really loving Finley's age right now (she turned 2 in January). She is so good at communicating and really says her own things with her own personality instead of just repeating everything you tell her.







It was just one of those days where you soak in life and are so thankful for it!!

strawberry patch

I woke Finley up and told her we were going to pick strawberries from the ground and she was so excited. She got all ready with scotty dog and magnifying glass in hand and was ready to go, go, go. She picked out her sunglasses, she wanted one with "diamonds", smart girl.





We got our buckets and stopped to pose with our friends before we crossed over the bridge to the Strawberry Patch to get pick'n!!




She had a blast looking for the perfect red strawberry.

After we filled our bucket all the kids went to go jump on the " jump pillow." I didn't get any pictures because I was trying to help her get up on it. It is basically this huge "pillow" full of air, the kids could climb to the top and slide down, jump or run across it. She had so much fun with her friends and kept going up and sliding back down with a huge smile on her face.

Then we had lunch at the picnic tables with our friends. She would not look up for anything because she was focused in on her fruit snacks, she is in love with these things right now!!




Jameson was So good the whole time. He just hung out in the baby carrier, but I took him out so he could see what was going on at lunch time. Doesn't he look so cute in his hat!?

TWO MONTHS

Today this precious boy is two months old.

what we have been up to

(Sorry for the delay in post, I have been taking a lot of pictures, but was having trouble uploading them on the computer. )

We have been enjoying the weather and just having fun with each other.

We have been playing at the park a lot, and having apples for snack.







We have been enjoying time at home and Finley is being the best Big Sister.

Jameson has a Playdate

My sweet friend Nicole had a baby boy named Mills on January 4th so he is about 6 weeks older than Jameson. We thought it would be fun to get them together!! Nicole came over one day a couple weeks ago when Finley went down for a nap and we let the boys play! They were precious. I mean, what is better than One baby? TWO cute baby boys!!





They came back over last week for Nicole's Birthday :) I think these boys are going to be great friends!

spring has sprung!!

Spring is in the air and we are enjoying every second of it!!

Papa G , Shell, and Finley

Today Finley had a special treat!! Her papa G came by for a date with his Finley!! He came over in the morning, helped feed Jameson his bottle, then took Finley to play! They went to Alhambra Park and then for lunch at Chickfila. "Thanks Papa G, I had a Great time"!!






She was wiped out after she got home!! Her Aunt Michelle (Shell) came over to play with her when she got up from her nap! Finley LOVES her aunt Shell, they always have so much fun together. Aunt Shell brought over hopscotch to play with.
