Park, Puppies, Pediatrician.

We have had such a great week. I have been bad about bringing my camera out, so haven't taken many pictures. We went to Gymboree twice this week and went to Barnes and Noble. We also went on a lot of walks around Finley's neighborhood, the weather has been gorgeous!

Today Finley went to the doctor for her two year check up, and as you would expect- She. is. PERFECT.
She performed for the doctor and showed off her verbal skills. She got two shots and cried some, but overall was a very big girl.

After the doctor we went to go play at Alhambra park. We met our friends Easton and Doyle there. Easton's mom, Kim, just got a new member to their family- an itty bitty puppy dog. It was only a pound, and only will gain a couple more lbs. by the time it is grown. Finley loved it. She wanted to hold, pet, and feed her. She is so loving. If Finley's mom and dad weren't going to be busy with a brand new baby in the next couple of weeks, I may suggest this puppy for them!! :) Haha I know their hands are going to be full so for now we will just leave you with a cute picture of our day at the park. Children's Museum

Thursday's are Children's museum days-rain or shine AND today was definitely rainy!! We got dressed up and put on our rain coats and we were on our way. Turns out, we were not the only ones with the idea to play indoors. It was so crowded! Finley played with Doyle, Marley, Norah, and Ava were all there and she met more friends too! She is such a friendly girl! First she played in the golf ball room






Then she painted on the chalkboard wall with water.






Then we did some grocery shopping.








Next was the toddler room and just had a ball exploring!





After we were worn out from all the fun, we loaded back up and headed to Sermet's corner on King Street for a big girl lunch! My friends all met to celebrate the January Birthdays- Finley and I both fell into that category so we were excited. My friend Nicole just had a baby 3 weeks ago and Finley could not get enough of him. "See it. See the baby!!!" She is going to be the BEST big sister when Jameson gets here! She ate a big lunch and was the group's entertainment! She had everyone laughing -singing Old McDonald had a farm and making animal noises. She has such the personality, she is a joy to be around!

Today has been a great day! We headed out to the aquarium this morning and had the best time. Finley knows exactly what she wants to see when we get there, and knows all of her animals. The eagle was the first thing we saw and Finley greets him with a "Good Morning Eagle." Then we move on to the Camp Caroline where they have wooded animals. Owls, skunks, catfish, and a little creek with minnows.
Then we moved to the penguins and then the otters. The otters were in a playful mood and were swimming and doing tricks for us. Then we moved to the alligator where we saw an alligator try to take a bite of the turtle. Finley didn't think that was very nice!!!
We saw starfish, jellyfish, seahorses and an octopus. Then we finished the trip off with a long look at the Big Ocean Tank with sharks and sea turtles among the many creatures in there. She really soaks up everything at this place. It is such a fun place to go and learn about the animals in the world around us!

Finley is TWO

Finley turned Two today!! Her parents threw her a Dora Ice cream party at her request. All of her family was there to celebrate. Look at the pictures below to see some of the fun!
